1. What has three feet but cannot move on it's own?
A meter stick
2. A man rides his horse into town on Monday stays for three days and then leaves on Friday. How is this possible?
His horses name is Friday.
3. Where did the Loch Ness monster put on it's sneakers?
In the locker room.
4. What kind of dog likes to be around scientists?
A labratory retriever
5. What did a scientist get when he crossed a cat with a parakeet?
A purakeet.
6. When is the ocean friendliest?
When it waves.
7. What do you call it when Mother Nature crosses an earthquake with a forest fire?
A shake and bake.
8. Where do the best dragon baseball players go?
To the Hall Of Flame.
9. Why was the chef hired to coach the baseball team?
Because he knew how to handle a batter.
10. Where do mummies go swimming?
In the Dead Sea.
11. What did cinderella where when she went to the beach?
Glass Flippers.

In SECOND place we have Rudy Malcom with his very colorful peecock.
In FIRST place we have Hannah Erikson with her teenage girl that she draws in a lot of different backrounds.

Mets And Yankees Season Update
Hello this is Eli L. with your Mets And Yankees Season Update
Mets
The Mets have recently been 1-4 games behind the first place Phillies. The Mets have many players hurt such as their star shortstop Jose Reyes. Also Carlos Delgado and many other Mets are put on the Injured Reserved List. The Mets need to get those players back and maybe then they can start winning more games and get into first place.
Yankees
The Yankees also have been recently 1-4 games behind the first place Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox are doing well this year so the Yankees are having trouble catching up with them. The Yankees just recently lost to the Washington Nationals that is not a good sign. The Yankees are looking for the Red Sox to start losing so they can catch up but that may take some time.

Helping the Earth
Helping the earth is a good thing for people, animals and the environment. If we recycle reuse and reduce, our use of natural resources, then we can help the endangered animals and rebuild their habitats. If every person planted one tree we could begin to restore the ozone layer. One of the most important environments is the arctic, it is disappearing. If we plant trees we an change that. We as a community can bring that about.

The Color Spectrum
Did you know that white light isn’t just white light? It’s all of the colors of the rainbow (spectrum) red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. All these colors mixed together as light produce white. When you shine a white light at a prism, the glass or plastic splits the colors to get these spectrum colors. This theory was proven by Isaac Newton, a very important scientist. To get white light, mix the three primary colors: red, green, and blue. Red and green mixed together is yellow. Red and blue mixed together is magenta. And green and blue mixed together produces cyan. Yellow, magenta, and cyan are all additive (primary) colors.
